Online Notarization Requirements

1. Ensure you have the necessary equipment. Here is the list.

An Internet connection.
A laptop or desktop computer equipped with a camera and microphone, OR a smartphone.
Use a Chrome or Firefox browser.

- Download and install Chrome, if needed.

- Download and install Firefox, if needed.

2. All signers need to appear on camera.

If more than one person is signing, you may use the same device or separate devices.

3. All signers will need to present their unexpired government issued ID for verification.

Valid IDs are: A driver license, passport, state ID, military ID, etc.

Upload Your Document(s)

Please note: Last Will and Testaments are NOT accepted. Contact a local notary for in person service.

1. Prepare your document(s) to be notarized.

Complete your document(s) by filling in necessary information, but DO NOT sign your document(s).
Format document(s) as Word or PDF file type. You can use a scanner or use the FREE version of the Adobe Scan app to create the PDF.

2. Attach your document(s), provide your contact information, and suggest appointment times.
